Remembering: the women and children whose abuse and mutilation during war is never acknowledged, let alone remembered. Who are never given medals, a uniform, status, or representation. Who have no league, flag, song, chant or statues. No memorials. Let’s open our hearts in living memorials and vigils. As we speak, write; fight.
